Synopsis for "The Hard Way!"
When Easy Company gets a new recruit, the new soldiers youth and inexperience earns him the nickname "The Kid", and his jittery and awkward additions to the unit put them all at risk. Sgt. Rock tells The Kid about Sig, a soldier who was wounded in combat and had to be left behind. Shortly afterward they heard gunfire, and during their next battle against the Nazi forces, Easy Co. called out each shot and the victory out to Sid. After finishing his story, Rock is asked what happened to Sig by The Kid. Rock tells the Kid he doesn't know. Later when they are in combat, The Kid is wounded and has to be left behind. However, when Easy Co. is later attacked by a Nazi tank, The Kid shows up and helps kill the Nazi soldiers inside the tank. Afterwards, Easy Co. jokes about how The Kid went after them so that they'd know what happened to him.
