History
Panama is a country located in Central America bordered by Costa Rica to the north-west and by Colombia to the south-east. It is populated since aproximately 11,000 years ago. Cristopher Columbus arrived to Panama in 1502 and it was settled by the spanish around 1519, since Panama has the smallest distance connecting the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea it soon became a very important place for the spanish empire since it was the easiest way to take the silver from the Viceroyalty of Peru to Spain, considering this Panama was also a place that suffered from several attacks of pirates, as a result of this many ships got sunked in the area. One of the most famous was the Sancta Joanna.
Several years later Panama became an independent country and in the 20th century it received the visit of Tim Rogers, a treasure hunter that was after the treasures of the Sancta Joanna, Rogers efforts where sabotaged by modern day pirates who also wanted the ship treasures, the treasure hunter would receive the help of the golden age Flash who after hearing Rogers troubles raced to Panama stopped the pirates leadered by Burly Billy abandoning them somewhere in the artic sea and returning back to Panama securing the gold for Rogers who left the country as a rich man.[1].
Several years later Panama was chosen as one of the places in wich the Weapons Master challenged the members of the Justice League of America to fight him, this villian came from the future and wanted to prove several weapons from his time to see wich one would defeat the heros to use it back in his time to escape the police. Aquaman and Martian Manhunter traveled to the Panama Canal and managed to find the way to overcome Xotar De-Evolutionizer after wich the joined the others members of the Justice League back in the United States. .[2]
