Penelo is a peaceful ocean planet inhabited by tentacles sentient species in Sector 1355.
History
When Eon and the fleet of Ravagers attacked the planet using a strip-mining ray, almost all of the planet's inhabitants were killed, including the planet's Green Lantern Penelops who was personally murdered by Eon. The Ravagers and Eon were forced to flee thanks to the Green Lantern Corps, but by this time the damage was done, and Penelo's oceans were rendered uninhabitable, with all remaining ocupants of the planet becoming refugees.[1]
Penelo's surviving inhabitants were moved to a nameless oceanic planet in Sector 328.[2]
