The Persuader is a legacy name of super-villains in the 30th Century and modern era, using an Atomic Axe that can cut through literally anything. He is an enemy of the Legion of Super-Heroes and a member of the Fatal Five, alongside Emerald Empress, Mano, Tharok and Validus. His predecessors are Cole Parker, a member of the Suicide Squad, and Elise Kimble of the Terror Titans. The Persuader was created by Jim Shooter and Curt Swan, first appearing in Adventure Comics #352. (1967)
