Peter Malley was a scientist at the DEO, tasked with studying a sample of skin of Cassius Payne. The sample attached itself to Malley, turning him into a Clayface as well.
After a confrontation with Batman, Clay-Thing was destroyed and his remains are stored at the headquarters of the DEO.
