Dr. Thirteen is visited by the "ghost" of a Paul Williams, television executive who supposedly committed suicide. The executive asks Thirteen to solve his murder. Which leads him to Ross Curran, who kills himself as well. Thirteen deduces that the entire ghost story is a hoax, and later proves it when he confronts the still living Williams.
