Synopsis for "The Demon Gate"

Dr. Nathaniel Seine's wife is on her death bed, and in spite of her please to him to let her die, Seine has been trying to find a way to make her young and vital again. Having delved into all avenues of both science and magic in order to find a way to prolong his wife's life.

To facilitate this plan he creates Mogal, a mystical construct, and uses her to capture the Phantom Stranger. Sein hopes to summon a demon and use it's power to transfer the Stranger's powers and vitality into his wife. Breaking free, the Phantom Stranger breaks loose and foils Sein's plot, and his wife Margaret dies, thanking the Stranger for helping in ending her suffering.

The Stranger departs, as the sobbing Dr. Sein vows to get revenge on the Stranger, whom he believes murdered his wife.
