History

Phillip Mason was born in the year 1926. [1] When he came of age, he enlisted in the United States Army and was assigned to the infantry unit known as Easy Company under the command of Sgt. Frank Rock. Dubbed "Ice Cream Soldier", Mason was often selected to serve as point man during European operations. Mason served throughout the latter half of World War II and was present at the Battle of the Bulge.

  • Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985-86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact.
