Synopsis for "Body, Mind and Soul"

The chief calls Plastic Man to his office, then explains to him that he's discovered "Eel" O'Brian's true identity as the costumed hero. As Plastic Man ruefully agrees to give himself up, the chief has a change of heart and says that if Eel solves three of his toughest cases, his criminal past will be forgotten. First, he captures a gangster willing to avoid capture, even if he must commit suicide to do so. Then, he tracks down and apprehends a behind-the-scenes gang leader. Finally, he investigates mysterious deaths in an isolated rural town, which turn out to be the victims of a werewolf. Convinced of his good intentions, the chief allows him to remain a free man in the F.B.I.

Notes

  • This is the last time that Earth-X's Plastic Man uses his real name. From here on, he is seen living with Woozy, and his face does not revert to "Eel's" when he loses consciousness. This may be poor writing, or an insinuation of subconscious association of identity.

Trivia

  • No trivia.
