Elongated Man is a superhero with the ability to stretch his body great lengths, and one of the world's greatest detectives. Despite his prominence in the superhero community, he maintains a public identity alongside his wife Sue Dibny. He has been a member of the Justice League of America, Justice League Europe, the Super Buddies, the Outsiders, and after his death the Black Lantern Corps. Elongated Man was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino. He first appeared in Flash #112. (1960)
