Tim Drake returns to the regular Batman Family as Red Robin, reuniting with Dick Grayson as Batman and Damian Wayne as Robin. Alfred helps him adjust to living

The Hit List is a Red Robin storyline written by Fabian Nicieza and illustrated by Marcus To. It's Nicieza's debut arc on the Red Robin series, following the conclusion to Christopher Yost's Collision and leading into Nicieza's second arc The Rabbithole.

Synopsis

Tim Drake returns to the regular Batman Family as Red Robin, reuniting with Dick Grayson as Batman and Damian Wayne as Robin. Alfred helps him adjust to living in Wayne Tower, and Lucius Fox helps him adjust as new CEO of Wayne Enterprises. This includes the gang outreach program Neon Knights, and his fake engagement to Tam Fox. His first target is Lynx, and he challenges her to a public duel in front of her gang. Lynx insists that she is an undercover cop, but he tosses her to the GCPD anyway. In the Bat-Bunker, Tim explains to Dick and Damian that he's assembling a hit list of villains to go after.[1] It's explained that he's set them up like dominoes, each one bringing him a step closer to the next. Drake's next targets are Brutale and Ulu-Girl, both working for the Penguin. Tiffany Fox holds a press conference about corrupt cops hurting the Neon Knights, in Tim's efforts to flush them out. Robin offers to go hunting with Red Robin, but cuts his line in the air. Tim and Damian fight, but Tim refuses to hold back this time and kicks Damian's ass. Damian reveals to Dick that Tim's hit list doesn't just include villains, but heroes as well, and he's on it. Robin laments that nobody will trust him, and Dick lectures Tim on the problems with emotional detachment. The corrupt cops Marcus Wise and Roman Cavallo, threatened by his actions, hire Scarab to kill Tim Drake.[2] Red Robin investigates Vicki Vale, who has deduced their secret identities but has no evidence. Tim holds a press conference to expose Cavallo and Wise, leading Scarab to shoot him. Red Robin takes Scarab down, and it's revealed that he hired Miss Martian to take the bullet. Leslie Thompkins forges his medical records, and Tim protects his secret identity by pretending to be crippled for the next year. He exposes Cavallo and Wise on live television.[3]
