Red Tornado was a Soviet chemical weapon developed by the Soviet Union that was first used in the 1968 Czechoslovakian War when it exploded and wiped out the Czech town of Pilsen with horrific results, which it also cost the life of Captain Comet. The weapon was considered to be the most deadliest doomsday weapon that cannot be competed by the United States.
However, an intact Red Tornado warhead was discovered by the Czech resistance and relayed this news to the Americans, in which they send a six-man covert team, the Metal Men, to retrieve the warhead while believing that gaining possession of the Red Tornado in American hands would force the Soviets to broker peace and ending the war. When the Metal Men found the warhead, their leader Commander Marcus Moore decided to have it armed and launch at Moscow as he wanted to end the war as soon as possible. But his lieutenant and close friend Samuel Schwartz was against this and refused to unleash the weapon on a civilian population. Their ideals forced them to nearly to kill each other, and Moore was shot by Czech resistance fighter Raven. The Red Tornado was eventually brought into American possession and successfully ending the war between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R.
