Personal History
A graduate of Cleveland School of Art in Cleveland, Ohio (1939).
Professional History
Reed Crandall began his career in comics illustrating characters such as The Ray, Doll Man and Blackhawk for publisher Quality Comics. He also gained famed among Edgar Rice Burroughs fans for several book illustrations for the ERB characters.
