History

Based on the Resident Evil franchise, WildStorm Productions has published a number of action-horror themed comic books set in the universe made popular by video games designed by Capcom. Although some story elements of these comics have been shown as non-canonical by further developments in the gaming series after their publication, they continue to be produced, the most recent one in 2009. Series' include:

• Resident Evil (Volume 1)
• Resident Evil Code: Veronica
• Resident Evil: Fire and Ice
• Resident Evil (Volume 2)

Trivia

• In 1996, there was also a single Resident Evil one-shot published by Marvel Comics, although they never followed up on the concept.
