History

Dick Grayson

The first motorcycle used by Dick Grayson as Robin, was a regular blue motorcycle, with no special designs or capabilities. He started using this method of transportation during his college years at Hudson University, where he would hide the bike on the back of his unmarked van.[1] Eventually, Robin customized the vehicle by including his "R" symbol on the side of the motorcycle[2] and shortly after, he modified the paint job of the bike, making it green and red, like his own uniform.[3] The next upgrade Robin included was the auto-pilot feature, which allowed him to jump off the bike while on a chase and the vehicle would stop after a few moments.[4]

One of the models of the motorcycle was used against Robin by the Outsider as a trap[5] and was subsequently destroyed.[6]

Tim Drake

The motorcycle was used by Tim Drake during the gang war that broke out in Gotham.[7][8]

Later, Tim was targetted by the Club of Villains and used the motorcycle to escape from Pierrot Lunaire and Swagman.[9] However, he was soon found by Swagman, who stole Robin's motorcycle and damaged it beyond repair. Robin turned the situation again by incapacitaing Swagman and stealing the villain's motorcycle instead, getting away a second time.[10]

It is unclear if Robin retrieved his motorcycle from Swagman or if he took a backup one, but after being attacked again by Pierrot and Swagman, he was saved by the timely arrival of the Club of Heroes. Robin then used the motorcycle to go to Arkham Asylum, but he stopped in the middle of the road after noticing a big explosion on the river.[11]

A few days later, Nightwing took one of Robin's spare motorcycles from the Batcave to reach one of Batman's safehouses and later, he traveled to New York, where he left the motorcycle at the Cloisters.[12]

Shortly after Batman's death, Squire and Damian Wayne used Robin's motorcycle to reach Jason Todd's makeshift Batcave and rescue Tim Drake.[13]
