"Robin: Year One" was written by Chuck Dixon, illustrated by Scott Beatty, and published between 2000 and 2001. It deals with the origin of Dick Grayson as Robin, a story that has also been explored in other stories like "Batman: Year Three," and "Batman: Dark Victory." The series was also produced around the same time as two other Batman Family-related Year One miniseries', "Nightwing: Year One," and "Batgirl: Year One."
