Synopsis for "Grounded!"

Tim Drake was just told by his dad that he is grounded because of the stuff that happened at Ariana' house. Jack Drake thinks he gave Tim too much rope lately and intends to change that. Tim feels misunderstood because he did nothing wrong, but more important to him is that his father now also grounded Robin. At least he can watch some TV in his room, and the breaking story is a hostage situation in the city. Suddenly Dana, the girlfriend of his father, enters the room. She sensed that Jack overreacted and wants to listen what Tim has to say about. So Tim tells her how it was Ariana who wanted to take their relationship to the next step. Dana believes him and will try to ease the situation with Tim's dad. Tim imforms Alfred about the hostage news via phone, but Batman is not available to deal with it right now. After a failed call to the police Tim calls Huntress, but she is not at home. To get his mind off the news, Tim calls Stephanie Brown and is surprised to hear that Steph actually thinks about quitting the Spoiler gig. As Tim continues to watch TV news, his father enters. But Jack immediately notices that Tim does not actually listen to him, so he gets angry and takes the TV as he leaves his son's room.

Next morning Tim mows the lawn and gets a visit by Bruce. He tells Tim that Batman took care of the hostage situation, so Tim did the right thing by not escaping from home.

In the meantime, the General gets closer to his new friend Ali Ben Khadir and even proposes to accompany him into his country and advise him on some military decisions ...
