Synopsis for "The Killer!"
Nightwing is in Gotham City and teams up with Robin to stop some thugs who are stealing the last money from people who want to leave the city for good. Robin takes this opportunity to talk with Nightwing about the murder of Tim's school mate Philmont. Nightwing thinks Robin should continue to keep an eye on the former suspect Josh Stanzland.
Next day in school, Stanz and his friend Meachum actually thank Tim for his statement at the police. More worrying to Tim is the fact that Stephanie Brown is at school as well and Tim does not want her to recognize him. And after talking to Oracle, Tim visits Stephanie at home using his alter ego Alvin Draper. He is relieved that she obviously did not spot him at school.
In the evening, Robin once again visits the crime scene looking for possible clues. He finds a homeless man who regularly hangs out in the area. As Robin speaks with the man, both are being shot at by two masked men. But Robin is able to catch them and it is no big surprise for him that they are Stanz and Meachum. They obviously lied to him and tried to eliminate another potential witness of their murder of Philmont. A little later, Stanz and Meachum get arrested by Shotgun Smith. But in his heart, Robin will always share a part of their guilt ...
