History:

Roger Simmons was an officer in the United States service assigned to Army Intelligence. He was a long time ally of the mysterious Unknown Soldier and served with him on many missions. During a tour in Vietnam, he earned the nickname "the Saigon Kid". As an older man, Simmons married a woman named Leslie and had a daughter named Claudia. Simmons lost his life during a failed operation orchestrated by the chairman of the joint chiefs General Wintley Roth.
