Ron Troupe was a journalist for the Daily Planet.
History
When the Daily Planet wrote their first article about the the Blur (later known as "Superman"), Ron Troupe was the one assigned to the story.[2] At some point, Ron apparently had a son named Samuel, with Lucy Lane.[1]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Smallville and its tie-in and comic book series, Smallville and Smallville Season 11. It is an adaptation of Ron Troupe. The original character was created by Jerry Ordway and Tom Grummett and first appeared in Adventures of Superman #480.
- Ron Troupe was portrayed by P.J. Prinsloo.
Trivia
- A VRA file on Lois Lane, lists Ron Troupe and Samuel Troupe as biological relatives of the Lane sisters. No specifics are given on the exact nature of their relationship (other than being biological relatives),[1] but dialogue suggests that Ron is not their cousin.[3][4]
