History
The Samurai Squad was formed by the summoned souls from the Soultaker Sword, all of them who were slain using that weapon. Takeo Yamashiro used a special ritual to bring them back from the death and attempted to use them in order to gain control of the Yakuza crime empire. However, the Samurai Squad was confronted and defeated by the Outsiders, forcing all the souls to return to the enchanted blade afterwards.
