Synopsis for "The Hourman Final Act"

Face, Hood, Hourman, Sandman, & Lenny's retard gang all showed up at a masquerade ball. The fight mostly took place on the Ritz Hotel's roof. Lenny died in a fall, after fatally shooting The Hood. Hourman punched out The Face, but he later got away.

Notes

  • On p.22, Sandman blurted out Rex Tyler's real name, which The Face could have overheard, if he was conscious and hadn't yet fled the rooftop.
  • At story's end, Tick Tock Tyler has decided to take a hiatus from his Hourman adventures and put some science into improving his super-power-inducing formula, which is still not yet called "Miraclo."
  • The Earth-Two version of Hourman began his adventures in Adventure Comics #48 (March 1940). While it is possible that the Earth-Vertigo version of Hourman may have remained inactive from New Year's Day 1939 until March 1940, it is not likely that the irrepressible Rex Tyler would remain out of action forever.
