  • Sargasso Sea Kingdom: An enormous sub-sea forest of red seaweed, of extremely tough composition. The sap from broken fronds of this plant is a powerful narcotic fluid. Secreted amid this undersea thicket are an orderly series of sunken ships, from many ages and nations, along with several members of one ship's original crew, alive and seemingly immortal. The ships are sealed with seaweed and have seaweed air vents connecting to the surface. This all is possible due to an undersea herb which grows there, which has kept alive this population of air-breathing humans since Imperial Roman times. According to the settlement's ruler, Princess Althea, the supply of that herb was exhausted in the late 1940s.[1] Wonder Woman has visited this region.

  • Port of Missing Ships: An enormous floating mass of fragrant seaweed, gives off vapors which affect the atmosphere. A permanent fog enshrouds the area, and jet engines, even at high altitudes, fail when flying through this gas. Amidst this mass of vegetation are scattered an assortment of ships, from many ages and nations, along with their original crews, alive and seemingly immortal. Among them are some military and pirates but all co-exist peaceably together, partly due to the seaweed's fumes. Stranded here are clippers and schooners and galleons and Viking longships, along with Egyptian grain barges and many warships from both World Wars. Also, some of the seaweed is as dense as lumber, enabling the inhabitants to build walkways between their ships. This region was visited in the 1950s by the famous Blackhawk Squadron, who have sworn among themselves to never reveal its location.
