Synopsis for "File #108: Case of the Terrible Talon"

In West Germany, Professor Froelig, a leading authority on synthesization of basic metals, is kidnapped. A group of West German business owners and professionals meet together to discuss ways stopping this viscous, East German menace called Talon. Their solution - Sarge Steel. Sarge Steel flies over to Germany in a commercial plane and, while finishing his coffee, finds a strange message at the bottom of his cup - a talon symbol. Sarge Steel arrives in West Germany and is by Herr Wolffhundt, leader of the anti-Talon committee. They head to a restaurant to discuss the details of the operation but undercover Talon operatives ambush them, stunning Sarge Steel and kidnapping Herr Wolffhundt. A while later, Sarge Steel comes to and hops in his modified rental car. He is joined by West German Security Bureau Agent "Gerta." The two drive off and quickly discover that they are being followed by a Talon helicopter. The Talon helicopter lowers a mighty electromagnet, picks up Sarge Steel's car, and transports them into East Germany where The Talon himself is waiting. The Talon feels that Sarge Steel is a worthy adversary and orders his men to not dispatch Sarge Steel yet as he wants to personally confront him. The Talon knocks out Sarge and Gerta with a stun gun. The two come to strapped to medieval chairs and surrounded by high-tech devices. The Talon then begins breaking Sarge Steels mind in order to brainwash him and make him serve Talon. After The Talon is satisfied that the brainwashing has worked, he releases Sarge Steel but the Sarge fooled him and launches a counter-attack with his mighty steel fist! Sarge Steel frees Gerta, grabs The Talons unconscious body and heads for his car. Talon agents pursue them, but with a well-aimed toss of his exploding shoe, they manage to get into the car and drive off. After blowing up a steel gate, they hit the open road. A half-track is in hot pursuit but a rocket launcher in the modified trunk makes short work of it. The Talon copter fires on them, but a Messerschmitt that Sarge Steel called in quickly takes it out. Through major protest by The Talon, Sarge Steel and Gerta bust through the border check point and take The Talon to West Germany to be tried. The Committee starts the trial at once, but Talon's entire force tries to free their leader. They think that they are launching an easy, surprise attack to free their leader, but the surprise is on them as Sarge Steel is ready! With a jet-pack and rocket launcher, Sarge Steel takes out the Talon Copter and sends them on the run. The Committee lets Sarge Steel pass sentence on the Talon. Sarge decides to let The Talon go, but he also leaks false information that The Talon betrayed his organization, causing The Talon to be hunted until he dies.
