Scorn is the name mainly used as the position of The Wrath's sidekick and partner-in-crime, a Gotham City teenage super-villain who acts like an evil version of Robin. This position was originally created exclusively for the animated series The Batman, where the alias was used by Andy Mallory, the younger brother of the Wrath. Scorn was eventually introduced into the main continuity in Detective Comics (Volume 2) #22, where the alias was first used by Clyde Anderson, a thug working under the Wrath. The second and most recent Scorn is David Caldwell, the Wrath's son and a student at Arkham Academy. Scorn was created by Robert Goodman, first appearing in The Batman episode "The End of Batman". (2008)

Another character that uses the "Scorn" alias is Ceritak, who was a resident of the bottle city of Kandor before he escaped confinement and moved to Metropolis. He was created by Dan Jurgens, first appearing in Superman (Volume 2) #122 (1997).
