The Sculptor Sorcerer was a criminal who posed as a famous artist. His golden "statues" depicted lawmen catching criminals, but he would actually freeze real people in place using chemicals. Then later he would unfreeze the criminals, and they would pay him for getting rid of their enemies. When the Suicide Squad targeted a powerful gangster named Sneeko, Sneeko hired the Sculptor Sorcerer to kill them. He succeeded in trapping them using Sneeko as the bait in a trap. His assistant was an island girl named Karra, and she fell in love with the Suicide Squad's leader Rick Flag. Karra took Flag to a volcano, where the heat melted him enough to move. Sculptor Sorcerer killed Karra's pet gorilla Noko in revenge. Flag was able to free the others as the volcano exploded. There was a massive earthquake and the Suicide Squad survived, but Sneeko and the Sculptor Sorcerer were both killed.[1]

  • This version of Sculptor Sorcerer (Earth-One), including all history and corresponding appearances, was initially erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series. However the ending of Convergence retroactively prevented that collapse, saving all the alternate realities, though in an "evolved" form. Even though versions of the character may have since appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
