Earth-9
In the continuity of the Tangent comics Universe, the Sea Devils are a society of mer-people created by the nuclear exchange that destroyed Cuba and Florida in 1962. In the interregnum reality created by Alexander Luthor during Infinite Crisis, this reality was known as Earth-97. The Tangent Comics Universe has since been re-established as one of fifty-two alternate realities in the recreated Multiverse.
