The Seven Soldiers of Victory is a team of costumed heroes first active in the 1940s. The time-lost Green Arrow and Speedy were two of the seven members. The group was reassembled by Stargirl in the 2020s, as an emergencies-only team.
History
While battling the Clock King, Green Arrow and Speedy were transported back in time to the 1940s. They joined a group of other heroes consisting of Shining Knight, Crimson Avenger, Star-Spangled Kid, Stripsey, Vigilante and Wing. Together they were known as the Seven Soldiers of Victory.
During a battle with Nebula Man the soldiers were flung forward in time, returning Green Arrow and Speedy to their own time stranding the others in the future.
Notes
- Seven Soldiers of Victory was created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp, first appearing in Leading Comics #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Seven Soldiers of Victory first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Infinite Frontier #0 by Geoff Johns and Todd Nauck.
