Shade the Changing Man is a super-hero from the planet Meta who fights evil using a stolen M-Vest. This creates a strong force-field that grants him limited invulnerability and flight, in addition to projecting a distorted version of his image to any opponents. It has shown the ability to distort reality. He has been a member of the Suicide Squad, the Secret Seven and Justice League Dark. Shade was created by Steve Ditko, first appearing in Shade the Changing Man #1. (1977) Peter Milligan reinvented the character for Vertigo Comics in Shade the Changing Man (Volume 2) #1. (1990) |
