Synopsis for "A Handful of Sand"

Called from their individual residences, the Shadow Cabinet meets in the Shadowspire, where Dharma brings to their attention a man referred to as Corpsicle (a.k.a. Carter Hooks), a psychotic killer who has recently been imprisoned by the U.S. Government. He intends for the team to capture Corpsicle en route to the Underwater Prison he is scheduled to be moved to, and determine whether he can be used as a resource, or if he must be terminated. Iron Butterfly and Sideshow hijack the boat he's being transported on, and stage a jailbreak, posing as other super-powered prisoners to gain his confidence. While escaping by lifeboat, the three recall their own personal origin stories. Corpsicle grows suspicious of why Iron Butterfly wouldn't have removed his handcuffs despite the fact that that would've made escape easier, and correctly concludes that he is being set-up. He violently attacks the two, and they are only saved thanks to the timely intervention of Donner and Plus.
Corpsicle is deemed too dangerous, and Dharma has Mechanic teleport him to the bottom of the Ocean to drown.
