History
Sirius is an Old God of the First World who live under the surface of Apokolips. Sirius had survived the destruction of the First World that nearly destroyed the rest of his kind and roamed the underground tunnels of Apokolips called the Black Ways as both their eternal guardian and their prisoner, killing all who ventured down there. At one point, Sirius encountered Mister Miracle as a child and spared him because he saw the potential for great good in the boy. Sirius died while protecting Orion's life during their encounter, thereby finally finding release from his eternal imprisonment.
