HistoryEdit

During one of the Blue Beetle's nightly patrols, he ran across a masked burglar. The burglar tripped over a homeless man and dropped a vial of experimental leukemia treatment he had stolen earlier that night. The burglar managed to escape but the homeless man ended up with the vial. Over the next several days, several homeless people were murdered in the city. The burglar, now nicknamed the Skid Row Slasher by the press, was interrogating and killing the city's homeless in search of the man with the vial. Soon, Blue Beetle caught up to the killer and apprehended him. It turned out the Slasher was dying from leukemia and had hoped to use the treatment on himself. ^[1]
