Synopsis for The Jester: "The Adventure of Stoneface"

An extremely stoic criminal, aptly named Stoneface, approaches gangster Rad Romsey about joining forces. Romsey agrees to consider the proposal if Stoneface can get the police to look the other way during his operations. He makes the mistake of trying to bribe Chuck Lane, who he shoots when the officer refuses to take a bribe. As the Jester, Lane beats down Stoneface and gets him to confess everything he knows by tickling his feet, which shatters Stoneface's practiced equilibrium. Unfortunately for him, his cellmate is a reader of Police Comics who's always laughing at Plastic Man's antics.
