History
Snake-Oil was one of several convicts held prisoner in a United States army stockade in the early years of World War II. Lt. Benjamin Hunter selected Snake-Oil to become part of a Special Forces unit code-named Hunter's Hellcats. Although lacking in moral fiber, the former con-man faithfully served under Lt. Hunter throughout the remainder of the war.
Snake-Oil's current whereabouts, or if he is even still alive have yet to be revealed.
Notes
- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985-86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
