History

"Batman/Spawn" (alternatively "Spawn/Batman") is the blanket name given to the series of intercompany crossovers done by DC Comics and Image Comics, pairing their two popular heroes, Batman and Spawn. To date, three issues have been done.
"Batman/Spawn: War Devil" (1994) was written by Doug Moench, Chuck Dixon and Alan Grant, drawn by Klaus Janson. It featured Batman and Spawn teaming up to stop Spawn villain "the Croatoan."
"Spawn/Batman" (1994) was written by Frank Miller, and illustrated by Todd McFarlane.
The more recent "Spawn/Batman: Inner Demons" (2006) was written by McFarlane, and penciled by Greg Capullo.
