Synopsis for "Infinite Possessions"

Everyone at Madame Xanadu's Parlor is shocked after a most strange incident in which a man who went to get his cards read, fell to a certain death, but remained alive. Spectre taps into the cards dealt to the man and tracks him down to Louisiana. Spectre tells Jim Corrigan to drive down there and the private detective takes his assistance, Kim with him.

Once they arrive at their destination, Spectre leaves Corrigan's body and follows the trail of the man to the swamp, where he notices the presence of the Manhunters. Meanwhile, Corrigan and Kim stay in a diner, when they notice a man yelling something about men from mars following him. Corrigan goes to investigate and he comes across Batman. At that precise moment, Spectre has gone inside one of the Manhunters and starts deactivating the machines thanks to their collective consciousness. Batman and Corrigan witness how one Manhunter collapses in front of them and they decide to collaborate and stop the alien threat.

Meanwhile, Spectre continues deactivating Manhunters until he finds the source of their commands. A massive machine that sends signals to all Manhunters and in order to put an end to it, Spectre decides to make it explode, sacrificing himself in the process. His actions help Batman, Corrigan and the Suicide Squad escape from the Manhunter fortress, as all Manhunters are deactivated once the machine is destroyed. However, Spectre didn't die and he was able to reach the outside world once again and for once, he was glad about it.
