Synopsis for "The Bleeding Gun"

The Spectre wonders whether he is the lord of wrath that Shathan spoke of during his visit in Hell. Suddenly, he notices a group of men who are burning bums for fun. He burns them as punishment.

At the police station, Lt. Nate Kane gets yelled at by his captain for not revealing the "privileged source" who told him the kidnapped boy's location.[1] Over the phone, Amy Beitermann apologizes to Nate for getting him into trouble as she is aware of the "privileged source" too.

While she is on the phone, Jim Corrigan startles her when he suddenly appears in her apartment. He confesses to her that his mission no longer gives him much satisfaction. She suggests that maybe it's because he doesn't fully understand his mission; she says he needs to understand evil, not just punish it. Then, she confesses that since she found out she was HIV-positive, she too understands about being lonely. They go to a cafe, and she suggests that he mete out mercy, not just justice. He says it's worth a try.

Elsewhere, a gangster named Miguel Rojo has just been released from prison. Rojo's men attempt to kill Felipe Gustero, the person who helped put Rojo away. But as they shoot Gustero, the Spectre stops the bullets and redirects them toward Rojo.

Then, on an outdoor basketball court, two players have a disagreement. One is about to shoot the other, but the Spectre causes the gun to drip with the blood of all of the people that the gun has shot. The basketball player swears he'll never use a gun again.

The Spectre then interrupts a gunfight between two rival gangs. He strikes down everyone who has taken a life and spares those who have yet to kill. Then, he makes them fear guns.

In her shop, Madame Xanadu discovers that Amy has found the Spectre but hasn't called to share the information. She goes to Amy Beitermann's apartment and asks her to talk.

Meanwhile, at Anderson Memorial Hospital, Danny Geller is looking at people's electronic medical records. A security guard finds him, and Danny stabs him to death.

In the file room of the police station, Nate Kane looks for information about other Corrigans who worked for the police in the previous decades. He finds an old picture and realizes it's not Jim Corrigan's father, but Jim himself.

Across town, Jim goes to Amy's apartment, but as he's walking up the stairs, reality becomes warped and he sees the Spectre towering over him.
