Spore is a necrofloral avenger, a superhero on Earth 41 and a member of Justice Incarnate.
History
The soul of the man who would become Spore formed a symbiotic relationship with the Greenspore as it fed on his decaying flesh. Through this bond, Spore is connected to both his own Earth's florasphere as well as every other florasphere throughout the multiverse. He uses this connection to fight his mortal enemy, the Annihilator, who sought to drag all life into The Black.
Some time into his career, Spore was recruited to Justice Incarnate help save the Multiverse from The Gentry.
Later, when Captain Carrot became stranded on Earth 41, Spore recognized him and revealed that the same crack in the multiverse that had stranded Carrot was being exploited by Annihilator for his own pursuit of power. He thus rallied all the heroes on his world to try and stop Annihilator, but their battle was interrupted by the arrival of Darkseid, who sought the power for himself.
Notes
- While sharing some qualities with Swamp Thing, Spore was designed as a pastiche of the Image Comics character Spawn.
