Ibac was an enemy of Captain Marvel, powered by four champions of evil: Ivan the Terrible, Borgia, Atilla the Hun and Caligula.
History
Origin
Ibac's alter-ego is Stanley "Stinky" Printwhistle. When he says the magic word "IBAC" the frail, grey-haired criminal is transformed into Ibac, a brutal muscleman with a buzz cut, with enough strength and resistance to face Captain Marvel. Saying "IBAC" again transforms Ibac back into Printwhistle. While Captain Marvel is empowered by six mythological and Biblical figures, Ibac is empowered by four of the most evil and terrifying men to have ever walked the earth: Ivan the Terrible, who supplies Terror, Cesare Borgia, who gives Ibac Cunning, Attila the Hun, who gifts him with Fierceness, and Caligula, the sponsor of Cruelty. Also, while Captain Marvel transforms using magic lightning bolts, Ibac's transformations are accomplished with the power of mystical green fire and brimstone.
It was never shown how Ibac got his powers; but it is presumed that he made a diabolical pact with Blaze, who was his employer. Ibac is active since the 1940s. The wizard Shazam spent years as a derelict on the streets of Fawcett after a blow by Ibac on his head caused him amnesia.
