Synopsis for "Island of Armored Giants"
A group of US soldiers are about to be air dropped on a previously uncharted island on the South Pacific after a pair of sub mysteriously went missing in the area. The mission takes an interesting turn when the troops that are being air dropped are attacked by a giant pterodactyl. The troops manage to ward off the prehistoric beast with their weapons before landing.
Searching the island they find a camp set up by Japanese soldiers, but they have been left abandoned. Searching further they stumble upon another prehistoric surprise: A Tyrannosaurus Rex. The creature probes to be bullet proof and they only manage to kill the ancient beast when they manage to load up one of their tanks and fire a shell at it.
Finding one of their subs at shore, the soldiers spot the pterodactyl they encountered before making a passing swoop for the vessel. Quick thinking they manage to kill the beast by using one of the enemies mortar cannons and blowing it out of the sky. When a gigantic sea creature menaces the sub, the troops push out a contact mine out to it that blows up upon impact, killing the beast and allowing them to recover the missing sub.
As they sail back to base, the troops wonder what they are going to explain to their Commanding Officer once they get home. One of the troops suggests they tell them that they fought the final battle of the Dinosaur-Age.
