Starfinger is a super-villain in the 30th Century and an enemy to the Legion of Super-Heroes. He is a helmeted figure with five different power rays generated by each finger on his right hand. The original was Dr. Lars Hanscom, a scientist who hypnotized Garth Ranzz into doing his bidding. Char Burrane took the name when he found a powerful ring and had Hanscom killed, building his own criminal empire. Lars' brother Molock Hanscom, leader of the Cosmic Spy League, took the name after assassinating Burrane and taking his brother's equipment back. Molock was eventually killed by Khunds. Starfinger was created by Edmond Hamilton and John Forte, first appearing in Adventure Comics #336. (1965)
