Synopsis for "Cogele El Golpe"

In a hotel in New York City, Charles Cottsworth Pickney is contacted by Santini, who as his new commanding officer orders him to watch the news. Pinckney watches the news report about the attack on the UN building. Santini tells him that he, Coleman and Tefibi are inside and so far, unnoticed, but they need backup. He instructs Pickney and his partner Galena Golovin - who is the woman whom Pickney picked her up in the hotel bar last night - to pick up some items before coming to their HQ.

In a log house in the snow-covered woods of Finland, red portal appears from behind Jukko Hämäläinen and a uniformed man steps out of a portal. The man introduces himself Jaeger Weiss from Germany's GSG 9 and now a member of Stormwatch before making a crack about the scars all over Jukko's face (and the rest of him). Jukko replies that most people can't even speak after seeing his face for the first time, but appreciates Jaeger's good sense of humor. Jukko then shows Jaeger his collection of guns that Stormwatch desperately needs.

At Fort Bragg, North Carolina, two soldiers attempt to talk Sergeant Macdonald, who is left devastated over his wife divorcing him, from killing himself but without having any luck. They send in Luis Cisco. Unarmed, Cisco walks into the house and somehow subdues Macdonald before tossing him outside. Cisco then nonchalantly advises the soldiers, who are his superior officers, that they should clean up their own mess. Right then, Cisco gets a call from Santini offering him an immediate transfer to Stormwatch if he'll help out with the current situation at the UN. Cisco accepts and a red portal materializes in which Santini instructs to walk into it.

Cisco finds himself inside the UN building where Santini is waiting. After Cisco gets over the shock of the teleporter, he notices the duct taped terrorist and informs Santini and Coleman the man is pretending to be asleep. The terrorist suddenly bites Blake's hand, but Santini separates the two and orders Cisco and Coleman to arm themselves with the man's guns. But the terrorist informs them his weapons are keyed to his nervous systems so only he can use them. Tefibi then identifies their prisoner and the other terrorist killed by Coleman and Santini to be Egyptian twins Hamat and Hamoq, who are wanted for the terrorist attack on Egypt's Great Pyramid along with killing 39 high school students on a summer trip. That's all Santini needs to hear before he takes a scanner to Hamat's hand, finds a firing wire in his finger, and uses his bare hands to rip it out. Now that Cisco and Coleman are armed, Luis asks about everybody else. Santini says that Jukko has enough guns and that he's lending some to Jaeger, not only that, but he has two people outside to deal with the terrorists out there.

At a nearby storage facility, Golovin and Pickney threaten the owner to bring out some crates after he refuses to do so. They get the crates and go 12 blocks over to a building near the UN building. Golovin tells the soldiers, who are working out plans against the terrorists, that they have a strategy to take down the Scarab's aircraft and his SPB accomplice. The commander of the unit isn't very receptive to being ordered by Golovin, who in response painfully grabs him by the balls to make him change his mind. She orders him to give them their best helicopter.

Inside the UN building, Santini and Tefibi watch a televised broadcast sent by the terrorists, who identify themselves as the Bloody Hand of Jihad. Their leader, Hassan I-Sabbah, informs the viewers that they are only seeking death to those who terrorize and dominate the world. They demonstrate by executing the American and British ambassadors to the UN, and many more of the hostages will follow while not making any demands. Santini demands to know what's going on with the SPBs and the ship outside, in which Cisco responds that they are beginning "phase one."

The helicopter Golovin had asked for is being used to distract the SPB (Ash Shams, a flying man covered in nuclear flames) while Golovin shoots a special bullet (created by Tefibi) at the Scarab's vessel. This generates a focused EMP that brings down the aircraft. The Scarab tries to fight his way out, but receives five crippling, but non-fatal shots by Pickney. Ash Shams tries to save Scarab until he notices cans of gas are being shot in his direction. He thinks the gas is tear gas (which can't affect him) so he lights up to attack. But this sets off the gas and creates a fuel-air explosion with the intensity of a nuclear bomb. The gas (also created specially for this purpose) is consumed quickly, which leaves most of the surrounding area unharmed by the blast.

While everyone is disoriented by the explosion, Santini sends all of his team that are inside through the teleporter to reach the other terrorists and their hostages. Jukko is the first to encounter an enemy and tells him that he'll let him live if he surrenders and leaves the hostages alone. But the terrorist refuses to surrender before informing Jukko that he himself is a living weapon, the ultimate in human potential, who has fought Jukko a thousand times in his mind in which Jukko lost before he even got there. Jukko, however, smiles and says he loves it when "freaks say things like that because it makes it more rewarding when he snaps their necks." The superpowered terrorist attacks and Jukko grabs him by the neck and puts him in a headlock almost immediately. Before he can finish it though, a garishly dressed young superhero flies through the wall and offers to help.
