Strange Adventures (Volume 3) #3 is an issue of the series Strange Adventures (Volume 3) with a cover date of July, 2009.
Synopsis for "Go Away!"
Alanna reports Adam's disappearance to her father until they are interrupted by Prince Gavyn who wants to know about the sudden disappearance of stars. Both Alanna and Sardath are shocked that Gavyn is experiencing the same supposed delusion as Adam. As for Adam, a voice from the dark zone told him to "Go Away". Adam figures the only person that could get him in contact with the Weird is Captain Comet. Adam heads to Hardcore Station and witnesses another startling occurrence...a planet disappears.
Synnar explains to Comet and Eye that his defeat on Rann was simply one phase of his plan to gain omnipotence. His transition from the physical realm and into a ethereal being was interrupted by the Weird. Comet begins to believe Synnar's resurrection is the Weird's doing because it was the Weird who brought Comet back from the dead after Lady Styx had killed him. With Synnar trapped inside the Weird, his abilities are limited. Comet takes advantage of the situation and uses a telekinetic blast to knock out Synnar until he or Max can figure out what to do.
Max has the Weird/ Synnar placed into a tank with an intravenous drip which will keep the Weird/ Synnar unconscious. Max assures Eye and Comet that Hardcore's judicial branch will be looking toward capital punishment for Synnar. They intend to drop him in the center of nearest star to ensure that every spec of Synnar is incinerated even though it will be at the Weird's expense. Eye reiterates that large amounts of energy can't dissipate which means Synnar's ongoing existence may not be snuffed out by jettisoning him into a sun.
Comet asks Eye if she has compulsions about executing Synnar. Eye knows the horrible things that Synnar has done but it was Synnar who rescued Eye from the Wel Cen asylum ten years ago. Eye was in a catatonic state until Synnar nursed her back to health. Synnar also spent a small fortune for a cerebral implant and a communicator linkup that enabled Eye to speak with her thoughts. Now, Eye figures that her rescue from the asylum and her talks with Synnar were simply leading her to this moment. She hates the idea of being manipulated.
Comet's canine companion Tyrone asks Eye about the Orb that is always following her. The orb has been hovering around Eye since her time in the asylum. Eye's life as a freelance mercenary has been turned upside down because of Synnar's latest resurrection. Eye's attention is then turned to a nearby alleyway where she finds Adam Strange beaten. Adam was asking around for Comet's whereabouts and a mugger named Zalcor Numrat who managed to trick Adam by having him walk right into an ambush. Adam asks Comet to assist him with this connection between the Weird and the disappearing stars. Comet agrees to help so long as he is compensated. Suddenly, Synnar appears before them all and informs them that they must work together in order to prevent the entire universe from being destroyed.

Synopsis for "Just Passing Through..."
At Factor Zero, Graylock has seven shark-like behemoths that act as his contract killers. However, these Megalodons are mentally unstable so Graylock places each of them in a stasis container which causes the Megalodons to enter a consciousness shift or dream state in order to make them more docile as well as obedient. Graylock chooses his best and brightest bounty hunter to kill Bizarro. Megalodon-7 is the smartest of his brothers because he is the only one who is aware of the self-induced dreams that Graylock orchestrates.
Megalodon-7 has only known death and destruction but he is grateful for Graylock because his virtual existence in the dream has given Megalodon some extent of peace in his heart. Megalodon-7 always dreams of a loving family to come home to but his recent dream state is interrupted by Graylock. Megalodon-7 receives a pair of blue kryptonite gauntlets from Graylock because blue kryptonite is the only thing that can weaken Bizarro enough for Megalodon to deliver a fatal blow. Megalodon's job got easy when he learns that Bizarro arrived on Hardcore thanks to Synnar but his visit is interrupted by the arrival of Chief Justice Max.

Trivia
- not only does the Weird look like the Star Thief Starlin created for Marvel in the 70's, he is even referred to as a Star Thief
- the Father-Daughter-Relationship between Synnar and Eye is also a known motif in Starlin's work resembling Thanos and Gamora
- in "Warlock and the Infinity Watch" Starlin created a Being known as the Zalkor in the Mid 90's, other than the name there's no similarity between the Zalkor and Zalcor Numrats
