History
The Super-Sons was the team of the sons of Superman and Batman of a Pre-Crisis alternate earth composed of the half-human Superman, Jr. and Batman, Jr. who grew up in the shadows of their famous fathers and the existing other heroes of their Earth. While not as well recognized as their famous fathers, the duo did fight crime as part of their own period of self-discovery and ultimately became comfortable in their role as their fathers' successors. It is never stated whether they actually did finally replace their fathers or not in-story, especially for Batman, Jr. who was opposed by the Robin of their reality who openly wanted to succeed Batman, Sr. over Batman, Jr. though is suggested to later have loosely joined in the partnership of the Supersons.
An artifical duplicate of the Supersons was created in Pre-Crisis Earth-One reality as an accident production of a Kryptonian super computer program and stray molecules. [1] These artificial beings were a threat to the stability of Earth-One and elected to self-destroy themselves to save Earth-One than selfishly remain in existence in hopes of finding a possible cure to let them continue.
The true Supersons, and all members of their Earth and source universe, were destroyed in the Crisis on Infinite Earths.
A duplicate recreation of their Earth and people listed as Earth-154 (numbered in homage to the book number of the first comic book appearance of the Supersons, though an alternate imaginary tale. See Notes below) was created during the Infinite Crisis. This recreation and all of its inhabitants were destroyed at the end of the Infinite Crisis.
