Synopsis for "The Rise And Fall Of The Super Friends"

Mxyzptlk appears to torment the Super Friends by having its primary members participate in the filming of his movie "The Rise And Fall Of The Super Friends". Superman is lured into an abandoned department store where he is forced to "marry" a mannequin version of Lois Lane wearing a Kryptonite wedding ring. Batman and Robin are lured into the Gotham City Library where a Frankenstein monster overpowers them. Wonder Woman and Aquaman are lured into a junkyard where they are almost crushed to death inside a car crusher. However, in each case, Mxyzptlk manages to spare them from their doom only to put them into another scene where they ultimately fight each other wearing warrior garb. Superman has Wonder Woman nearly defeated when he pauses at a line he couldn't read from his copy of the movie script. Mxyzptlk reads the word, and finds out Superman has tricked him into saying his name backwards, causing him to return to the Fifth Dimension for 90 days. Gleek humorously closes out the story with a director's clap board saying THE END.
