To test out a memory-erasing machine for Kryptonians, Varn, son of Vol-Don of Kandor's Look-Alike Squad, goes back to Superboy's time, masquerades as an obnoxious youth who discovers Clark Kent's secret identity, makes life hell for the Kents for a week, and then reveals his secret to Superboy and uses the device to wipe the memory of his visit from Superboy and the Kents.
