Trivia
- This, and the next issue, was originally intended as a 64-page Legion of Super-Heroes Spectacular which never happened.
- Lightning Lad was elected as Legion leader in Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes #247. This story was probably written before that and has Wildfire acting as leader. A couple of word balloons attempt to cover for that by claiming that Element Lad is acting as deputy leader, but Wildfire retains the leadership attitude.
