Synopsis for the 1st Story

A tie-in in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Safety Belt Campaign.

After a vehicle crash caused by a drunk driver, a young man called Steve Gordon who was not wearing a seat belt is left in a coma. Supergirl feels guilty because she was saving the victims of an earthquake and she wasn't there to help Steve (who she was dating with). Superman assists Supergirl in reviving him by using an empathic device he has in the Fortress of Solitude.
