Synopsis for "Tesseract"

Supergirl finds a giftwrapped pacakge in her apartment lined with lead. She opens it only to find an empty box. There is a slip of paper inside that reads, "Mistake". She then receives a call from Batman who admonishes her for opening up the lead-lined box, citing that her adversaries will try to get at her through trickery.

Shortly thereafter, Kara is summoned by Superman who is assisting the Green Lantern Corps with a mission in deep space. The heroes are struggling to stop a battle between two warring star fleets. Superman needs Supergirl to track the enemy courier ship back to its point of origin. He would do it himself, but he is preoccupied with countering the invading fleet's efforts. A Green Lantern gives Kara a device that will instantly teleport her back to this location. Superman warns her that she only has two hours in which to complete the mission.

Supergirl trails after the courier ship, but a solar flare distracts her course and the ship is able to pull away from her. Her time runs out before she can determine their point of origin. She teleports back to the battle site and apologizes to Superman and the Green Lantern Corps.

Supergirl then has an idea. She enters a spatial rift that brings her into a tesseract dimension.

Synopsis for "Boom"

Superman takes Supergirl outside of Earth's orbit to see how she is doing. He knows that she only recently regained memories of Krypton and understands that it must be difficult for her. Kara ponders whether there is some greater purpose for their arrival on the planet Earth.

Her rhetorical question is never answered however, as suddenly a giant explosion rips through her, sending her back down to Earth. She lands in the sea, but when she flies back out, she finds a costumed super-villain waiting for her. Supergirl doesn't recognize him, but as she tries to fight against him, she finds herself rocked by another series of explosions. The villain introduces himself as Reactron. Synopsis for "The Girl of Tomorrow"

In the cancer ward of a hospital in Metropolis, Supergirl vows that young Thomas Price is not going to die. Suddenly, a time traveler appears in the room and slows down time. He fires a Kryptonite bullet at Supergirl who catches it, but at great physical cost. Though time is slowed, Superman is able to project a blast of heat vision that eventually melt's the assailant's weapon. With no alternate course of action, the traveler grabs Kara and disappears into the timestream.

They emerge in a facility four-hundred years in Earth's future. Supergirl tries pressing the man for answers, but they are surrounded by a squad of armored soldiers who open fire on them. Frustrated and confused, Supergirl grabs the time traveler and flies off.

Setting down in a secluded area, she presses him for answers. The time traveler reveals that Supergirl is destined to "steal the fire of the Gods" and transform humanity into a race of super-beings. The time traveler wishes to prevent this, fore although they are now extremely long-lived, they are no longer human.

The time traveler then eats a poisonous capsule. He reveals that he is the only one who can operate the time travel technology, so if he cannot kill Supergirl, he can at least trap her in the future, thus creating a paradox wherein this timeline never comes to pass. His plan fails however, as this era's version of Batman (an extremely long-lived Bruce Wayne) enters the facility and repairs the time traveling device. He activates it and sends Kara back to her normal timeline.
