Synopsis for "The Kiss-Off for Mr. Action"
Clete Dutton has escaped from prison and the Daily Planet reporters are sent out to cover the story — except for Jimmy Olsen, who Perry sends to cover a story about stray dogs.
In Buena Vista, an old woman named Lena Lawrence keeps the dogs on derelict property — which coincidentally is the property that the convict Dutton hid his loot. And Dutton appears, demanding their help at gunpoint.
Jimmy and Lena are in trouble until her stray dogs save the day and also find the loot, earning her enough reward money for a fenced yard and house to care for the dogs.
While Lena knows Jimmy, she muses on how Jimmy would never guess who she truly is, and reminisces among her Jimmy Olsen souvenirs.
